Paul Kohlbry and I have co-authored a chapter in the new edited volume.
Resisting Domination in Palestine:Mechanisms and Techniques of Control, Coloniality and Settler Colonialism (eds. Alaa Tartir, Timothy Seidel, and Tariq Dana, 2024, Bloombury/IB Taurus). It is available in hardback and as an ebook, and hopefully soon as paperback. Our chapter, "Situation the Transnational in Agrarian Palestine," urges attention to the international dimensions of racial capitalism and settler colonialism in critical agrarian studies and the political economy of Palestine. We examine how transnational forces of dispossession and racialization function in multiple crop systems and economies in Palestine: olives, dates, and sheep and goat herding.
