Educating the community
I am available as a speaker and educator to Jewish organizations, campus groups, and individuals interested in a Jewish anti-Zionist perspective. I am available to lead workshops and give talks on: combatting antisemitism from a leftist, anti-racist perspective; understanding the links between Zionism and antisemitism; and supporting diasporic Judaism.
The Local Lulav Project
Convened by Noah Rubin-Blose, we wrote a zine to imagine what creating diasporic lulavim for the Jewish festival of Sukkot might look like in theory and in practice. The zine is available to download and use for free as well as supplementary workshops and teachings I have done on the subject. My contributions to the project include prompts that wrestle with whether it is possible to 'decolonize' Sukkot both in Palestine and on stolen land in the US, as well as conceiving of a lulav made entirely of plants found native to California.
