I aim for my research and teaching to make meaningful difference in the world. I have multiple years of experience in mentoring student organizers for social justice around the US, particularly in the Palestine solidarity and environmental movements, and am a long-time participant in community organizing for justice in Palestine. I am available to lead and develop trainings and political education for individual organizers, student groups, and community groups around political education topics such as:
- environmental justice and food sovereignty in Palestine
- feminist critiques of Israeli settler colonialism
- practical trainings: campaign strategy, public messaging, and more

No Appetite for Apartheid is a national boycott campaign launched by the DSA BDS & Palestine Solidarity Working Group. In line with BDS tactics, we are canvassing local stores in our communities and asking them to pledge to become Apartheid Free Stores by dropping food products and companies
complicit in the occupation of Palestine from their shelves.

"A Land without a People" Reading and Discussion Group with Jewish Voice for Peace Bay Area - April 2023
I helped to facilitate a 4 week discussion group analyzing materials from the book A Land With a People with writings by Palestinians and Jews confronting Zionism. We discussed settler colonialism in theory and practice in Palestine.

Organized with BDS & Palestine Solidarity Working Group of Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) I moderated this panel as part of DSA's BDS & Palestine Solidarity Working Group. Our panelists discussed land & food sovereignty in the face of Zionist settler colonialism in Palestine, as well as how to get involved with the No Appetite for Apartheid campaign to boycott Israeli food products. |
Palestine as a Climate Justice Issue (2020 & 2021)
Workshops organized for Sunrise Movement Bay Area and Sunrise Movement Silicon Valley with Palestine Action Network As an organizer with the Bay Area Palestine Action Network, I helped to create a curriculum for a webinar workshop for the Sunrise Movement Bay Area chapter overviewing Palestine as a climate and environmental justice issue. We had 40 youth climate activists attend the workshop in May 2020. I then spoke on a panel on the same topic for Sunrise Movement Silicon Valley in 2021. |

#stolenhomes petition drop: Boycott Airbnb (2016)
With Jewish Voice for Peace Bay Area and Anti-Eviction Mapping Project I helped to organize the delivery of 140,000 petition signatures to Airbnb headquarters in San Francisco. We demanded they stop hosting listings in Occupied Palestine as well as profiting off of the eviction and housing crisis in San Francisco and other parts of the US.
